Interactive Tissue
Cube Packaging for
Aldi & Tesco

Whilst working as a freelance designer for the UK’s largest manufacturer of tissue products, I was commissioned by Aldi to develop a set of novelty tissue cubes specifically aimed at children. The brief called for an engaging, interactive element that was also easy and cost-effective to produce.

I developed two themed collections: Animals and Cool Humans. Each design was carefully hand-illustrated and featured a playful pop-out element, encouraging interaction while maintaining production practicality. These bright, colourful, and eye-catching boxes were designed to capture a child’s imagination and add a bit of fun to a functional product.

The success of this range led to a further commission from Tesco, where I created two vibrant, summertime-themed cubes for their seasonal collection. Again, the focus was on fun, bold design with wide visual appeal and manufacturability in mind.

This project combined thoughtful product design with creative illustration, balancing commercial constraints with engaging visual storytelling.
